It's currently 99° with a heat index of 112°. I need to move further north. :-/

For some reason I slept really late today. I didn't get up until 2pm. Yes, part of that was due to having stayed up late. The internet was too interesting to go to bed. Like this Chuck & Beans comic. But maybe I really needed the extra sleep. I'm really tired of being tired on the weekends. I need to get out more.

3 reasons it really needs to stop raining:

1. My yard is overwhelmingly soggy which is preventing me from mowing the grass which is getting unbelievably high. Maybe it wouldn't be as much an issue with a traditional gas-powered mower but I'm certainly not going to run my electric mower over puddles of water. It is currently 12°F. Anything below 15 and my car won't start. So my car has not started this morning. Watching the temperature to see if it goes up at all (my computer says 16 but isn't exactly right for my area).

Not a good way to start my week.

I am finally, for the most part, caught up with my RSS feeds. It's always tough to keep up with them during work anyway, so where I'm at counts as caught up as far as I'm concerned.
